Since 1964, Tauranga City AFC has been at the heart of football in the Bay of Plenty. Based at our iconic home on Links Avenue in Mount Maunganui, we are more than a football club.
We are a community built on pride, connection, and a shared love for the game. Our guiding belief, Success Breeds Success, shapes how we develop players, support people, and represent our region.
TCAFC is a place for everyone. From young players taking their first steps on the pitch through to senior men’s and women’s teams competing at the highest levels, we offer opportunities to play, coach, referee, volunteer, and support football at every stage. Inclusion sits at the core of our club, regardless of age, background, or ability.
We are recognised as the region’s leading home for football development. Through our accredited New Zealand Football Talent Development Programmes and the FC Tauranga Moana Academy, we provide a clear, connected pathway for players who want to grow, compete, and reach their potential. Our commitment to development is matched by our facilities, including access to the Bay of Plenty’s first dedicated state-of-the-art artificial turf, opened in 2025 for the benefit of both our members and the wider football community.
On the field, our Men’s First Team proudly represents WaiBOP in the National League Northern Regional Phase, competing against the country’s best. Our Women’s First and Reserve teams compete in the NRFL Premiership, the highest level of women’s football in New Zealand, as part of the Te Ara Wāhine pathway. Alongside these premier programmes, we field teams across all junior, youth, and senior grades, ensuring football remains strong and accessible across the region.
Whether you are here to develop your skills, build lifelong friendships, give back to the game, or support from the sidelines, you are part of our story.
