Welcome to Mini Blues, our football programme for kids aged 4-6 and our U7 Boys. U7 girls play in the U8 grade.

4th, 5th, and 6th grades are mixed, with boys and girls playing together.

The aim of Mini Blues is to offer our young stars of the future a fun, engaging and safe learning environment where they can fall in love with our beautiful game.

Games are played at Ocean Downs, with the season starting in Term 2 (May) going through until the end of Term 3 (September). Exact start dates and draws will be communicated with members closer to the time.

Game day

As with all our junior and youth teams, Mini Blues play on Saturday mornings during Term 2 and 3.

Our game day formats align with NZ Football's First Kicks junior coaching model...but of course with all the usual fun.

So come along and join the fun at Tauranga's best football club!

Playing Kit

We provide our U4-U6 teams shirts to play in. Black shorts and black socks can be purchased through our club store here.

You will also need shinpads (mandatory) and boots (available in our club store) or players can wear shoes as well.

Most sports stores stock these, or you can try the Tauranga Football Marketplace Facebook page, where people are often selling used boots.
